Multiple pathways and opportunities at St Joseph's

Serving families across Northam, the Avon Valley and the wider Wheatbelt, St Joseph’s School offers a nurturing, country-based Catholic education from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 12.

Established in 1889, our school is deeply grounded in a proud tradition of faith, learning and community. We are guided by our Catholic values and a genuine commitment to knowing each child and helping them grow both academically and personally.

At St Joseph’s, students are able to complete their entire schooling journey in one place, building strong relationships and a true sense of belonging along the way. As the only non-government secondary school between Mundaring and Kalgoorlie, we are pleased to offer an accessible and high-quality education, with fees significantly lower than many Perth-based schools.

Whether your child’s future leads them towards further study, a career pathway, or back into a family farm or business, we are dedicated to helping them grow in confidence, discover their strengths, and use their gifts to contribute positively to the world around them.

We warmly welcome families at every stage of their journey — whether beginning in Kindergarten, transitioning into Year 7, or joining us for the senior years in Years 11 and 12.

If you are considering St Joseph’s for your child, we would be delighted to connect with you and welcome you into our community.
